When Pigs Fly

The set I used for this card is Fly Away from The Greeting Farm. I won this one and I absolutely love it! Anyway, I had planned to enter it over on the Fresh Batch weekly challenge but I didn't get it posted in time.

I colored the cute pig with my Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS. I stamped the balloons again on pink and cut out then pasted to the image. Added a yellow ribbon and 3 green buttons. I think it turned out cute! :)  I'm going to enter this one for the challenge over on the Saturday Challenge blog.

Squigglefly Challenge #11 - Just a little late

Remember Rhonda gave us a great sketch to follow and I think it was fun!!  Anyway, here is my card for the current challenge over on the Squigglefly blog.

This is Winston and Wendy.  Don't they look like they are in love?  :)  Image was colored with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS (as always).  I matted onto pink & green cardstock then I put 3 flowers on the top attached with yellow brads/eyelets ~ I'm not really sure what they are called because they really aren't brads nor are they really eyelets.  Guess I shouldn't have thrown the container away, huh?

Be sure to stop by Squigglefly blog and the store as there are lots of things going on!  They are asking for suggestions and you have a chance to win a free stamp!  Plus there are lots of stamps in the "On Sale" category as well as the "99 Cent Bargain Bin".  They have even added a "Last Chance Bin" to make room for all those great new images that keep coming in!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call

This call is open to everyone! Click here for the specific details.

To be entered we are asked to post one of our favorite cards and one of our favorite non-card items. My favorite card would have to be this Posey's for Ewe card that I made recently. The simplicity I think makes it more dramatic. For more details on this card, please check out this post.
A very close 2nd favorite of my cards would be this Pink & Green Tilda that I made for the July Raining group on the Magnolia-licious yahoo group. I love pink & green together. For more information on this card, check out this post.
For my favorite non-card creation, I would pick this frame that I made earlier. I really need to do more non-card creations. I have several different things started but just haven't finished. For more information on this frame, please check this post out.

Thank you so much for looking. The deadline for entering the Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call is August 3rd so better hurry if you are interested!

Happy Halloween (just a bit early)!

This is for an older Squigglefly challenge, here. Rhonda gave a challenge to use a square, an oval, glitter and ribbon. When I saw this witch on Squigglefly, I thought she was cute in a witchy way! LOL!

I knew I had to use orange and green (what witch doesn't have green skin?) plus I had to bling up her hair with some glitter! I used my Nestabilities square scallop die for the mat. I cut the witch's hat outside the box a little bit for a little more dimension. I used my Cuttlebug for the oval tag. The hardest part was cutting out the hat. I hope you enjoy!!

Supplies
Paper: from stash
Stamps: Bewitching (Squigglefly); miscellaneous sentiment

Buttons & Bows

Sheep are just too cute! My mom and dad raise sheep and I know my mom has started collecting sheep things too! This card is for a challenge over on the Kaboodle Doodles blog called Buttons and Bows.

I didn't want to go over the top with buttons so I settled for a button on each side of my image. This is Posey's for Ewe from High Hopes Stamps. I received this image from the Express Image swap over on Splitcoast Stampers. The sketch is an older sketch from Stamps and Smiles Challenge Blog, here.

Christmas in July ... again!

Here is another Christmas card ...

This one uses a Dustin Pike freebie (gotta love those)! I don't remember where I found the layout as I've had this one cut out for awhile. I added a white pompom to Santa's hat for a bit of dimension. I'm going to enter this one for the challenge over on Digital Tuesday. I might make some of these for my own Christmas cards this year!

missmatch Ketto

This little cutie is from Stamping Bella & she is called missmatch Ketto.

I love the pink & green color combination and used it again here. The layout is from Bloggabella, here. I just rotated the sketch to fit with my heart paper. I have a few different stamped images from Stamping Bella that I really need to play with. I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS (as always). Just for a tinch of bling, I added some stickles to the top of her crown. I really like this layout and will probably use it again.

I'm going to try something different with my pictures so keep watching and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking!!

Squigglefly Challenge #11

Hi, everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile but I've had a few issues going on that have kept me away from making cards.

This week over at Squigglefly Blog, Kim's challenge was to make a gender neutral baby card using shades of purple. This card uses Clarabell cow. Sorry about the picture color (it looks better IRL). I had a hard time getting this one to turn out as the front panel is a clear acetate sheet. The base is white cardstock with purple & white polkadot paper. Then I took the white mat and attached it to the inside of the acetate and the purple is attached to the front. Hello Sweet Baby is stamped onto the purple polkadot paper. White ribbon was added to cover the seam.

Be sure to check out the other Design Team members cards!! Links are on the left or you can check out the Squigglefly blog.

Pink & Green Tilda

Wow, it seems like it's been ages since I have made anything! I was finally able to put this card together tonight and I'm happy with the way it turned out. Plus I think I covered 3 challenges with this one:

A Spoon Full of Sugar ~ use hearts on our creation
Papertake Weekly Challenge ~ my favorite things

Ever since I stumbled upon Magnolia images (thank you Diana), I have really fallen in love with them. I only own 1 image myself but I have received several from the Express Image swap over on Splitcoast Stampers and I am hostessing an image swap there as well. The hardest thing on this was tying my bows but I have 3 more cut and ready to put together, lol!

Christmas in July!!

I had so much fun with Kim's challenge for the Squigglefly blog that I decided to make another one ... there are lots of challenges going on now with Christmas in July as the theme.
This card uses the Seasonal Trees set from Squigglefly (this is a set of 4).  Kim's challenge was a single layer card with just one embellishment.  Before I printed the card, I typed Happy Holidays under the tree so it would all be one layer.  I added glitter to the snowman and snow just for a little bling.  My embellishment is the red ribbon.  This card is for the challenge over on Stamp Something ... Christmas in July!

Supplies
Paper: GP white
Stamps: Seasonal Trees (winter image) from Squigglefly
Ink: printer ink
Accessories: glitter, red satin ribbon

Squigglefly Challenge #9

Kim's challenge for her Squigglefly girls this week: Make a card with only one layer, meaning just your card base. We could add one embellishment of our choice. This was a fun one to do!!

My image is Ticky Fourth of Mewly. I printed him on half sheet of cardstock with the fold at the top. I added the sentiment on the computer before I printed. Ticky was colored with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS (as usual). Just to make the sparkler sparkle, I put some Stickles on. I added some red satin ribbon to the top for my embellisment.

Be sure to head over to Squigglefly because they have started a Rewards System!!  For every $15 you spend in the shop, you get a free image, or even a set - your choice, no restrictions! Signing up is super easy, and they'll even give you a jump start by crediting you with any purchases you've already made in July. Just head on over to Squigglefly for more information and to get started.

Dotty Spotty challenge

The Greeting Farm blog has challenges and although I don't own any actual stamps yet, I received this image from the Express Image swap over on Splitcoast Stampers.

This is Flutter Anya. Isn't she cute in all her pink? I added Stickles to her wings for that added bling. Pink and black paper with black and white ribbon ... lots of dots!! I matted Anya onto black cardstock cut with my Rectangle Scallop Nestabilities using my Cuttlebug. I then added white dots to the scallops.
Let me know what you think!!!
