Button Flower
This card was really fun! Ever since I found this image, I knew I wanted to create a card like this with lots of dimension. The flower is called Button Flowers from Squigglefly. I printed out the flower 2 times completely and then just the button part 6 times. The leaves and flowers are popped up on pop dots as well as the buttons. I punched holes where thread would go and put in some twine then tied. I also pinched the petals on the popped up flower for even more dimension.
The layout came from a new challenge blog called Bizzy Becs which will have it's first challenge on the 15th. This is the layout they want people to use to try out for their Design Team so I thought I would give it a try. It also fits several other challenges as well:
Stamp Something ~ paper piece (I think this would count as paper piecing)
A Spoon Full of Sugar ~ floral
Pollycraft Monday ~ buttons and bows
Simon Says Stamp ~ buttons and ribbons
Crafty Creations ~ buttons
Rubbernecker Stamps ~ flowers
Supplies
Paper: from stash
Stamps: Button Flowers (Squigglefly)
